HP&M to Speak at Next Week’s FDLI & UMD Conference on Implementation of DQSA
November 24, 2014On Wednesday, December 3rd, the Food & Drug Law Institute and the University of Maryland Schools of Law and Pharmacy will hold a conference on “Emerging Issues in FDA Law: Implementation of DQSA” in Washington, D.C. The conference will include updates on implementation of the recently enacted Drug Quality and Security Act, and panel discussions addressing its two major areas: FDA’s regulation of pharmacy compounding and outsourcing faculties, as well as FDA’s implementation of the Act’s track-and-trace provisions. There will also be a “Hot Topics” panel; participants will include staff from the Senate and House of Representatives, who will discuss 21st Century Cures and PDUFA VI. HP&M Director Karla L. Palmer is one of the speakers and new Associate James E. Valentine* is moderating a panel.
